Venari arrives at earth and feeling Sol's burn hides within the moon shattering it in the process but using its broken corpse to hide from Sol she wipes Humanity from the surface of the earth with her corruptive influence.

From whats been gathered from ancient cities it happened quickly, within 24 hours all human life on the surface of earth ceased to be. Venari's arrival was loud and chaotic any who witnessed it died or became....corrupted. The videos from that night are hard to watch. While she was entering the moon she was able to alter television and radio signals two forms of communication that are still useless today. While Venarian Corruption doesn't flow through video it doesn't make her Venarian acolytes any less disgusting. It all started with a weather service announcement broadcast, the best anyone can tell this was the first communication Venari made with Yarth and the last thing ever aired. shortly after this video aired Venari finished her unfathomable travels and settled wholly in the moon shattering it to pieces. Venari's influence corrupts those who look at her true form in the night sky. As her corruption spread so did her acolytes as they would capture the uncorrupted and force them to gaze upon Venari. Her acolytes became supernatural themselves oozing the same black inky unreality from their orifices that Venari herself was formed of. these allowed her acolytes a limited form of shape shifting. The night was a massacre Acolytes crawled across the sides of skyscrapers in the cities, tore men and women to pieces in the streets, and when the military forces of the world tried to fight back with what few soldiers they had remaining they found the acolytes were no mere beasts, they worked together used weapons and vehicles and crushed the militaries on the streets. anyone who did not look at Venari out of curiosity was soon found by her acolytes. By the time dawn came no human was left alive on the surface.   The Network on the other hand. is a different story.
