Deep Elf
Deep Elves live in the densest parts of the great forests of Yarradon, where the canopy blocks the light entirely. They spend their lives in almost complete darkness, and isolation from the world outside of their forests. Their only interactions with people are outside of their tight knit communities are with the High or Wood elves who share their forests, or with the fey who find paths though from Greenwold to the material plane.
The isolation from the wider world, and a deeper connection to the wildness of nature has led to historical hostilities between the deep elves and and non-elven races. Huk himself was a deep elf and is archetypal not an anomaly for their kind.

Major language groups and dialects
As well as speaking elven they also have a shared language with other isolated communities, undercommon.
Shared customary codes and values
The Deep Elves value nature above all else. They have a particular affinity to the things in nature that others shun, their protection and love for spiders epitomises this.
Average technological level
Seeing little need for technology they haven't advanced much further than the bow or sword, though because of the time dedicated to these forms they have perfected their crafting.
Common Etiquette rules
The Deep Elven communities are eerily silent places. So as to minimise their disturbance on the surrounding nature they only use 'calls' outside of their subterranean homes. Speaking outside of a deep elven building is strictly forbidden.
Common Dress code
The garb used is entirely constructed from plant based materials, which has the additional benefit for allowing them to blend with their environment easily.
Art & Architecture
The only structures built by deep elves are subterranean, and used the root networks of trees to provide structural support. In the most ancient parts of forests their 'buildings' can get quite deep underground.
Historical figures
Huk is by far the most famous Deep Elf, who fought against the ignorant, materialistic masses of Rousanage in the 500s, after the elven ostracisation from the government at the time.
