Aeodordaran
The elves emerged as one of the first sapient species on Yaroth, descending from the stars on stairs of light, they claimed the richest lands for their own. With few present to resist their expansion, their population bloomed and many new settlements were constructed. Over time they grew decadent, and arrogant, resulting in the first elven civil war, the war of bloody roots. After this brutal conflict concluded the remaining population emerged hardened, and thirsty for violence.
So began centuries of conquest, slaughter, and slave-making. Wars were fought, won, or drawn, eventually only ending after the changeling rebellion and the departure of the one of half of the two sided pantheon. Their empire shrunk to barely more then a couple city states, and took on a more fitting name inspired by the god who remained alongside them, Aedwyn.
After this point the high elves of Aeodordaran continue to live like royalty, even while their foreign holdings crumble, and their wealth dwindles. Some see the fall of this most ancient of nation to be all but inevitable, though the people who live there would certainly disagree.
Dragon Population: Mostly nonexistent, due to constant hunting. What few live exist almost exclusively as sport for high-born nobles who seek to relieve the glory days when dragons were plentiful and many great hunts were had.
