Wuwari
Fierce, United, and Rooted in Survival
Life for the Wuwari revolves around the principle of scarcity. With few natural resources, they depend heavily on raiding passing caravans. These raids, while feared by outsiders, are ritualistic among the Wuwari—a test of strength, loyalty, and purpose. To them, survival in such a harsh land is not a crime but a divine directive.
The wolf god, known as Fenra , embodies the ideals of the Wuwari people—strength, cunning, loyalty to kin, and unflinching acceptance of one's place in the hierarchy. Whether beggar or prince, each Wuwari believes their role is chosen by Fenra, and each role contributes to the survival of the pack. This rigid hierarchy mirrors the dynamics of a wolf pack, with alpha leaders commanding respect and omega caretakers serving an essential balancing role within the community.
Despite their reputation as raiders, the Wuwari value harmony within their kin above all else. Family bonds and trust are sacred, upheld through rituals centered around the rare Howlstalk trees. These trees are revered not only for their sacred connection to Fenra but also for their immense practical value.
