Zones of blight known as the Corruption sweeps through Aeniya.

Zones of blight known as the Corruption started to appear in areas of dense Mirror Essence activity and when some of Heartha's created beings die. They rapidly spread through the environment enveloping and killing all life that comes across it. The Corruption has had resurface all throughout history of Xyto with the most recent one being in the year 3000.
