Sea of Calamity
Geography
This vast body of fresh water stretches along the western side of Xios from Ammerdon Outpost down to the Jagged Peaks. Streams and rivers from Turtle Lake are fed into the Sea of Calamity before evaporating and returning back to Turtle Lake.
Ecosystem
The Sea of Calamity is home to many types of creatures, from the dosile to the hostile. The main shores are filled with smaller creatures like crabs, lobsters, small fish, and others all trying to stay safe from the dangers that lie within the depths. Some Kuo-Toa live along the shores away from civilization in fear of being ridiculed and bullied. Further into the sea is where fish start to get bigger and size, and is mainly occupied by the sahagin living on the sea floor. As you get further you'll come across the merfolk who dwell on the floor of the sea
