Grand City of Brynharde (\b<r>in\ha<r>d\)

Where Champions are Made.

| As the drawbridge lowers over the moat and the huge portcullis is raised for the day, the Grand City of Brynharde comes into view. The first thing that catches the eye stands taller than any building in the middle of the city, the Brynharde Colliseum. The Brynharde Castle is the next biggest building to the east of Brynharde, with its four towers peering over. The rest of the buildings seem to jumble into each other becoming indistinguishable as the city bustles with life. |
Taking in the Grand City of Brynharde at first glance from the gates becomes a wondrous sight for those not accustomed to city life. The large buildings piled next to each other seems to go on endlessly as the streets crowd with busy citizens going about their day. Foreigners without a map might find it difficult to locate exactly where they need to go and typically resort to asking a local for directions, though depending on the district it might be easier said than done.

Run by Lord Khalid Shaw, Brynharde is a hardened city built next to the Spine of Xios as a mining town at first. The town became so profitable from the mines that it grew quickly to soon become the city it is known as today. Most of Eldinien's metals and gems come from the Brynharde Mines today.

Brynharde Colisseum

| As you walk up to this grandeur structure with its many entrances, the signifigance of this building begins to take you in. The faint sounds of cheering lingers on the wind from previous battles fought, and the smell of glory can still be picked up in the air. This is where heroes are made, where names are forged in blood and honor for eternity. |

One of the greatest attractions of Eldinien, the Brynharde Colisseum stands at 150 feet, taller than even the Brynharde Castle. Many come from far and wide in order to compete for the title of Champion of the Colissuem, a title that comes with both fame and fortune. There are several areas to the colisseum, each with their own purpose.

Entrance & Halls. The many entrances and hallways that lead to the seats within the colisseum. The lowest seats are reserved for the rich (12gp/seat), the middle are for the commonfolk (5gp/seat), and the top rows are for the poor or foreigners (1gp/seat). There are two doors that are meant for only the gladiators: Eldath's Beginning, where gladiators come out to start the fight, and Myrkul's Ending, where gladiators who die are brought out.

Imperial Box. The imperial box was where the lord of Brynharde, as well as his family and guests would sit to watch. It was guarded from people wondering in, and had a perfect view of the arena.

Arena. The place where all the action happens, the arena has walls 20 feet high to keep the combatants (as well as animals) in. Although the bottom was sand, there was an intricate floor system with pulleys and levers to allow animals and props to be brought up from below. The two gladiator doors faced opposite each other, with the Eldath door being underneath the imperial box.

Hypogeum The Hypogeum was the basement of the arena, a series of rooms that store animals, props, gladiators, and anything else the arena needed to function. It was the hivemind of the structure, allowing environments on the arena to change for the spectators entertainment.

Brynharde Bank

With so much ore coming out of the mines of Brynharde, the lord decided to make a bank for the public to access so that a more accurate log of how currency is being used can be store and utilized. The bank was so successful in helping out the citizens that it branched out to outer towns and cities, and you can even find one in the kingdom itself.

Ministry of Magic

With the population being so large, the use of magic was an inevitability. That being said, a comittee of spellcasters was made to help contain the use of magic within safe parameters, and the Ministry of Magic was established. Anything related to the arcane and safety can be brought to the M.O.M.

Brynharde Training Grounds

A prime location for those wishing to become a champion within the colisseum, the training grounds are where those who wish for more than the common life go to become a fighter. Players can use this place to multiclass into a fighter for the next time they level if they wish to do so.

With the NXP in Brynharde being larger than the one in Ammerdon, players are able to send messages and parcels to further places. the NXP is equipped with a stables for delivering packages, and a dovecote for messages.

Eldath Cathedral

Players can come to the cathedral to pray to their deity for a divine intervention should the deity feel it neccessary. Those wishing to become a paladin can find their calling here, and discover how to act on their oaths.

Elysium's Trove

A beautiful large pavilion with flowers and birds of all kinds, Elysium's Trove was designed to mimic Elysium itself in its beauty. Meetings are typically held here for royals and large events.

Mines of Brynharde

With Brynharde being close to the Spine of Xios, a mine system was established making the city the largest ore producer in Eldinien. With everything from iron to Æther ore, the mines have made Brynharde very profitable, allowing it to thrive in the metal industry. Apart from the mines in the Eyeless Desert, the Mines of Brynharde are considered one of the most successfull mine sites.
