The Pit
A large hole that appeared in the middle of the Shadowfell some time ago that consumes everything that comes near it. It can be seen from above and from a close enough distance, but is still very mysterious to all the residents of the land. It is said that munching and grinding sounds can be heard to be coming from it at various times and is said to be constantly moving and swirling throughout the plane.
