Prismali

This country lies in the southern most part of Lacrucia and is separated by sections based on the sand color of that area. In the current day it is split in five sections: The White Sands, The Blue Sands, The Black Sands, The Gray Sands, and The Red Sands. Each serves as it own individual type of state with its own laws and governing power, but the overall power still lies with Helio and his group and the uphold rules that apply to all these places. Each place has its own creatures and people to them and differing weather as well, making the travel throughout each of them quite an interesting journey. Out of all of them, the only one that remains relatively unlivable is The Red Sands, as a constant storm has raged their since the Arcane Upheaval making it hard to live or explore there, not to mention rumors of creatures lurking within.   Although horses can be bred to traverse these sands and those who can use magic can use wind to blow themselves across on sand sleds, but the most common way to traverse them is on Augerans, sandworm type creatures which are bred to be tamed and to help transport people across the sands. Some have even started businesses renting out their services to drive those willing to pay throughout the sands using these creatures and sand sleds.   The sands have always been split into these five colors, since the days of the War of Wills and it is unknown why or how this came to be. During the time after the elves finally invited other races to live upon the continent, some shifted toward the south and toward the sands. Soon after there were constant fights and conflicts over resources, whose land was whose, and the general fights that begin in a new land, with added wrinkle that certain resources that were common were now scarce here. Due to this, many gangs rose to prominence and some were shortly wiped out by newcomers, but two of these factions stayed constant from their inception the current day: The Harvesters of the Grey Sands and The Sun Eaters of the Red Sands. At some point the elves decided to construct a small town from the military fortifications once hosed in The White Sands and made it into a trading port, which grew hugely over time into the second biggest trading port and richest place in Prismali, the city known as Opala.   After the actions of the leader of the Sun Eaters, Helio Flarenas, the wars amongst one another stopped the warring in the sands and established boundaries and helped to foster laws to help people living in Prismali to finally have peace, or at least the semblance of it. To this day, these many sections of the sands trade, communicate, and talk with one another to foster good relationships and continue on in this new found way.
