Talseth

Talseth a City built alongside the south-western edge of the Divine Arch. It houses one of two skyship ports on the continent of Vetrai, bringing in many foreign visitors as well as many interesting foreign objects for sale. The City is broken into 5 subsections, The clearview, The Tradeports, The Mainways, The Tunnels, and The Aya.

Government

4 Lords rule over the various parts of the city, acting under the will of the Queen of Luminaris.

Defences

Being built atop and inside the side of a mountain is the primary defense, with no large armies being able to walk across The Windravaged Plains, they are defensible from any external attack, unless it comes from within Luminaris.

Industry & Trade

Skyports being rare upon the continent of Vetrai give reason as to why this city has grown so popular despite its inconvienient location. The people of this city find work in mostly honest ways but the lower down the mountain you go the less honest people get.

Infrastructure

A main lift goes between the various tiers of the city, with the aid of Zephyrium

Districts

The Clearview: The Clearview is the noble district of town, It has the highest quality shops in the city, with the highest prices. Besides for Emerys Enchantery a lovely small shop in The Clearview run by Madam Emery Crio.
The Tradeports: The Tradeports are the second highest tier of the city, where skyships dock for repairs and trade. This is where most grocers buy their goods to sell in the Mainway to the main populace. There is no residential spacing within this area, shopkeeps are forbidden from housing themselves within their stores and warehouses here, and as such the Tradeports are one of the cleanest parts of the city.
The Mainways: The Mainways are the largest portion of the city, with most citizens falling into middle class reside here. this is where you find the fairest price shops and the most mundane workers.
The Tunnels: The Tunnels are the manual way to go between the various heights within the city, Shadier shops find themselves hiding within the Tunnels as they arent recognized by the city, and as such arent patrolled by the guards. Travel through the tunnels will meet you with guards upon both exit and entry at any level.
The Aya: Aya coming from the full word "Elaras Asshole" as is the slums within the town, it is refered to as Aya by the denizens of Aya as a local insult, similar to the word asshole. This part of town is covered in horrible, dangerous buildings and many of the denizens here are just as horrible and dangerous. it is impossible to enter town through The Aya, as there is no road that leads into the bottom of the valley with only The Tunnels and the Mainlift, being the access to the town.
