The Cascades
The Cascades is a large mountain range north of Installation Alpha. Planetcrack has a mine here and these mountains form the second largest mountain range on the planet, second to the Cornerstone Peaks.
Geography
These mountains are larger than average, spanning thousands of feet high with snow up top.

Here there is a temperate climate with lots of rain that gets colder as you get higher up.
