Artillery Spotter
Nearly every Imperial Guard regiment uses forwardobservers in some capacity or others, to guide and directartillery fire ordered from behind the lines. Artillery spottersare selected for their observational skills and coolness underfire; while seldom heavily armed, they are the eyes and earsof the big guns.
Artillery spotters are distinct from the higher-rankingMasters of Ordnance. Spotters usually have authority onlyover regimental or divisional-level artillery pieces, ratherthan the theatre-wide command reach of their counterparts.

Your Comrade covers your flanks and keeps a doubled watch upon the enemy. As long as your Comrade is in Cohesion, yougain +2SL to any Tests to locate and identify enemy positions, strong points, mustering areas, hidden forces, etc. on thebattlefield.

You and your comrade feed targeting data to a nearby light artillery unit, calling in a small fire mission to better enable you toobserve or traverse the battlefield.
As part of this order, you must make a Challenging (+0) Ballistic Skill Test and indicate a point (not a character) on the battlefieldwithin line of sight. At the end of the round, a mortar round hits near the designated position.
Cost: 300xp
You and your comrade coordinate with several nearby artillery batteries to call in a substantial volley of fire on your target. As part of this order, you make a Challenging (+0) Ballistic Skill Test and indicate a point (not a character) on the battlefieldwithin line of sight. In 1d5-1 Rounds (to a minimum of 1), a number of shots equal to your Squads Logistics Bonus from a pieceof Field, Mortar, or Rocket-type artillery of the GMs choice hit near the designated position.
This ability may only be used a number of times per mission equal to half your Squad’s Logistics Bonus, rounded up (to aminimum of 1).
