Etangod
The etangod are spirits of departed Crocotta who can be called upon by Bone Singers to perform magical workings. These acts can range from healing the sick to protecting an encampment. The spirits contacted are usually direct ancestors of the clan's respective bloodline, though some powerful Bone Singers have been known to channel the forces of over-deities such as Tangar. Though the etangod can be summoned from any location provided one has the proper training to do so, their presence is strongest at the kurgan (burial mounds) where the Crocotta intern their dead, and at the ocvoock shrines dedicated to the deities."When our bodies return to the ground, our souls live on. When the clan uktgan calls out to the etangod for aid, she is calling out to all those who came before. Grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and those ancestors whose names we have forgotten."- Song Keeper Tuvan, son of Altani, to the cubs of his clan, 4212 UX
