Origin Grove

Deep within the woods of Sylvia lies a sacred grove which the elves claim is the birthplace of all life. As the stories go, after The Night of The Second Sun and after the killing of the great stag, although the mountains and valleys and great waters had been formed, there was no living thing to appreciate it. Seeing this, Silvain placed a drop of his blood on the ground, from which Origin Grave sprouted. Animals and plants of all kinds ran from the grove, spreading themselves across the lands.   To this day, Origin Grove is considered a sacred space by the elves of Claren'ware and Dulra'ware, and is meticulously maintained by the Rot Guard. The grove itself is a small cluster of trees, which although appear very similar to the surroundings, feel completely distinct, without anyone being able to describe why. A small stream passes through the grove, which is a favourite of animals passing through. Although life can be found in abundance in the grove, no animals live there, choosing only to pass through during their travels. Similarly, no elves live in the grove, and furthermore, the gathering of food or materials is strictly prohibited.   Legends say that the grove has incredible healing abilities. Those that drink the waters within it are said to be cured from any disease, and harvesting fruit or cutting limbs from the trees will cause them to immediately regrow. Many pilgrims travel to Origin Grove to receive this healing.
