Perry Pudding
Use
Perry Pudding is a dessert in the southwestern Vinelands. Here, fruit trees and wines are common, often with specialized noble houses growing specific fruits. House Perry traces their origins to Lucyn de Pre - Lucyn of the Pear - who is said to have received the first pear tree sapling from Promona, an avatar of Mae. In the regions under their current and former control - largely consisting of Perryden and Acornmill - Perry Pudding is a sort of custard pie made using pear slices. It is often served during the New Wine Festival.Cooking
Mix eggs and honey in a bowl, then add milk, flour, salt, and a touch of white wine.Peel pears, cut in half, and core. Arrange these into slices in the bottom of a pan of iron, greased with butter.
Pour the mixture over top of the pears, and place in an oven for forty minutes, until lightly browned upon the edges.
Remove and allow to cool, during which the top will collapse inwards, forming a custard.
