Lady Halewer
Queen of Calshire
Queen Halewer Sediwer
Lady Halewer is the current ruler of the Kingdom of Calshire and mother to Prince Cador and Princess Loria. She has ruled since the death of her mother in 735 R.A. and ruled jointly for a period of 8 years from 736 R.A. to 744 R.A. with her late husband, King Dubrais of Bruth. The royal family of Calshire follows a matrilineal line, and as such Princess Loria is her heiress
Relationship with The Royal Court
Lady Halewer and the adventuring group known as The Royal Court have interacted frequently in the past. Two members of the group, Rowan Northstar and Nora Bennett are both originally Calshiran nobles, and as such both have had minor interactions with Lady Halewer in the past. The first major interaction that Lady Halewer had with the group was early in their career, when she called upon them to seek out the cause of the orc raids from the Archag mountains. She would later invite them to her son's wedding, where they would save her life from the guests who had been dominated by Xander the Beholder. Additionally, since Nora's marriage to Good King Gibble of the Faewilds, Lady Halewer has had frequent communication with both Nora and Gibble, due to the large forest which serves as a portal between the realm of Fae and Wulsten.
Personality
Lady Halewer is known for her kindness, as well as being down to earth. She is well liked by the common folk of Calshire and Calshiran nobles alike, and well respected by neighboring rulers. She is known to maintain good relations with Fae and various arcane practicioners, and also notably has a curiosity for the arcane arts, despite having no magical talent herself.
