Twilight Rites
1. Every evening, just as the sun starts to fall below the horizon, there are certain rights that must be accomplished before night swallows the sky.
2. If these rights are not completed, the gods will send monsters to hunt humanity in the darkness of night.
3. There will be no escape from the monsters in the night, only hope they do not find you before dawn.
4. The only way to put an end to the monsters returning, is the perform the rights at the next twilight and everyday after.
This is the only way to keep us safe.

1. Once Twilight has begun, light a flame in a north facing window.
2. Once the flame is lit, sprinkle rose petals over all entry points.
3. Lock every entry point.
4. If a fireplace is in the building, boil rose petals over the fire until the flames extinguish.
5. Close all curtains and never look outside during the night.
6. Once the sun has risen, toss out all rose petals used during the night and bury them under the earth.
