Wolf's-bane
While traditionally used as a poison, wolf's-bane as a few other uses. It can be used in accessories, though this is a dangerous craft. It is also used as a symbol for the vampire hunting guild, The Hunters' Outlawed. However, it's effectiveness towards vampires makes many hunters of such creatures use the poison. It is a very common plant.
Because most wolf's-bane, especially in Europe, irritates the skin on contact and may lead to poisoning if the skin is not properly washed before meals, the flower is often dipped in resin or glass before being molded into an accessory. Resin is most often used, as molten glass may burn some of the petals. Most often, the resin-coated wolf's-bane is shaped into a pendent to be used on necklaces.
There have been some reported cases where the flower itself was shaped into a circlet or a necklace, though those types of accessories are often seen in older art or are used by druids or others practicing witchcraft.
