The U.S. 5th Infantry Division (Mechanized) leaves its cantonments and goes on the offensive in Operation Reset.

The division pulls up stakes from its cantonments in Chojnice and Człuchów converges on Bydgoszcz and Toruń, their initial objectives. Contact is quickly made with the 2nd Polish Free Legion, who report that the road ahead is clear.
