Włocławek and Krośniewice

Refuelled, the division continues south.

Divisional recon, the 4-12 Cavalry, on horseback, scout the road south to Włocławek as far as Krośniewice. The main body reached Włocławek by the evening of June 30 with its advance elements securing the strategic road junction at Krośniewice on July 1.   5th Division again paused for maintenance and fuel distillation while the 4-12 Cavalry continued scouting south towards Łódź.
