The Slip Stream

Description of Vessel:

The Slip Stream is a sleek longship comprised of elm and spruce. There is a large sail attached to the mast, and three lanterns placed around the vessel so that the deck is always illuminated in bright light. The Slip Stream can hold 140 medium individuals, but requires a crew of 25 to operate it. There are a few dozen benches to sit on while in transit, but many of these benches are used for rowing. There are no beds or daily comforts aboard this vessel as it is mostly used for transporting troops toward battle.

History of Vessel:

The Slip Stream was initially constructed for use in the Reman Army. Many anticipated the successful stealth missions that it would help accomplish, but as its renown spread across Volkyr, many began to desire the vessel for themselves. A band of smugglers, calling themselves the Mud Runners, stole the Slip Stream under the cover of night. The Reman Army has been searching for it ever since. Rumors in Port Oren mention a ship fitting the Slip Streams description heading towards The West Lands.
