Shafir's Weather Balloons

  Miranda Shafir is an intimidating Tiefling who has little patience for goof-offs and jokesters. Her passion lies in weather and leather, and has found her calling with both. The leather balloons that hang from the bandolier across her chest each hold the power of a natural weather phenomenon.

  Miranda Shafir has a chair that she sits in and a parasol to protect her from the elements. Though she has a hot air balloon that she travels in and prefers to sell from, when there is no room for it in the market, she sells her wears from her person. Each of the leather balloons that hang from her vessel or bandolier, each contain a powerful force of nature.

Thunder Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. All creatures within 10 feet of where the balloon lands must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 thunder damage and is pushed 10 feet away from where the balloon landed. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't pushed. 30 gp
Lightening Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. All creatures within 10 feet of where the balloon lands must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 3d10 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. 50 gp
Tornado Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. All creatures within 10 feet of where the balloon lands must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 2d6 Bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. 30 gp
Hail Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. All creatures within 10 feet of where the balloon lands must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 2d8 bludgeoning damage and 4d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. 1000 gp
Fog Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. You create a 20-foot-radius sphere of fog centered on a point within range. The sphere spreads around corners, and its area is heavily obscured. It lasts for the duration or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses it. 25 gp
Death Fog Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. Upon landing, it creates a 10-foot radius, sphere of fog. When a creature enters the spell’s area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, that creature must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. The creature takes 5d8 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures are affected even if they hold their breath or don’t need to breathe. 4,500 gp
Wild Fire Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. Each creature within 10 feet of where the balloon lands area make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. They take 7d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. 8,500 gp
Eruption Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. All creatures within 10 feet of where the balloon lands must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 3d10 bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. 200 gp
Famine Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. All creatures within 10 feet of where the balloon lands must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. Creatures take 8d8 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This spell has no effect on undead or constructs. If you target a plant creature or a magical plant, it makes the saving throw with disadvantage. 2,000 gp
Meteor Storm Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 60 feet from you. Each creature within 20 feet of where the balloon landed must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 20d6 fire damage and 20d6 bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. 12,500 gp
Solar Flare Balloon This Balloon can be thrown up to 45 feet from you. All creatures within 10 feet of where the balloon lands must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 12d6 radiant damage and is blinded for 1 minute. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage and isn’t blinded by this spell. 7,500 gp
