Blue Omen

Description of Vessel:

The Blue Omen is a large sailing vessel with 5 large sales attached to the the 3 85-foot-tall masts. The bulk of the ship is made out of oak; the frame, the planking, the interior walls and door ways. The mahogany detail work around the railing, helm, and much of the captains quarters, turn this average sailing ship into a ship worthy of a noble. This ship is large enough to transport a crew of 50-60 comfortably. There are enough hammocks for 1/2 of the crew to be resting at any given time, and each hammock has a footlocker linked with it to store personal items. The Captain and officers have their own rooms, respectively, and each have their own foot locker as well. If bringing guests or prisoners on board, there is a guest cabin and brig towards the bottom of the vessel.

History of Vessel:

The Blue Omen was created as a colonization vessel. When the religious fanatics, often referred to as the Cult of Blue by non-members, felt ostracized by the new regime of The Kingdom of Rema, they boarded the Blue Omen in hopes of finding a new world. They made their way to Green Water Bay, in The West Lands, and began to travel up the river. They found a few acres of fertile land and decided to make it their new home. But that land was not theirs's to take and they soon fell victim to the curse that haunted that land. Unbeknownst to their fate, they began the construction of their town, building it up stone by stone. But the more they built, the more they faded away. The prayers of a new town were answered with the a ghastly substitute. The travelers of the Blue Omen can still be seen wandering around their village and performing their daily activities in their ghostly form. It is unclear if they are aware of their circumstance or not.
