Tletl Sketch-Drafting Process
Initial Idea: common-or-garden victorian steampunk peeps with a severe dragon intolerance, led by murder hobo King nathaniel and his dad before him.

Hopefully vaguely more interesting idea:
Steampunk Aztec/Mayan descendants who arrived right as they were being sacked/betrayed by spanish conquistadores. Providing distrust of anyone looking for gold ---> Dragons looking for gold always + being kinda scary and a bit pushy = Conflict. Very hegemonic because aztec, Maybe spurns magic for some level of steampunk technology or a bit of a mix? probably a bit of a mix but we'll see what we come up with. Spreads like rabbits and pushes dragon presence out of the middle continent and establishes an empire surprisingly quickly. Arrived several thousand years after the Great Solar Event (whatever we are calling that... I need to look it up.)
Started the Great Dragon War (whatever we are calling that... I need to look it up. again) and then got pounded in the face by Maverick and his rogue army, as well as a bunch of dragons.
Possibly closley allied with Ociphar and Human Nation B.
