The Notorious Session 4: The Test and Magic? Report

Martius 8th Morning to Afternoon After the harsh word lashing from Solstices mother the party set out and started off again for the Mayor's murderer. They however got distracted again by wanting to investigate the abandoned Magic Shop. They arrived as Luna was unlocking the door. She asked the party how they where doing and they said we were just checking to see if the Magic Shop could help. Luna knowing the party let them enter to explore the Magic Shop with her. The party found this extremely well crafted cobalt anvil. Upon the anvil in "Dwarven Script" stated place items of a familial bond to you on anvil. All the party members placed something on the anvil that meant a lot to them. Whether it was a weapon or a trinket. These items all started to glow a strange yet wondrous cobalt blue in special spots of their weapon/trinket. The party also found a recipe scroll for a bag of holding.   After the Magic shop the party then preceded to pick up some meat solstices mother had for pick up. Upon reaching the meat shop the butcher just handed Solstice a note. "The Note stated they have failed to stay on task, remember you are not welcome back until quest is finished.   The party immediately set out and started back up on their hunt. However they heard some strange noises and a little boy yelling for help. The party attends to the boy just as a giant constrictor snake wraps up Wincen. The party takes care of the snake and Solstice and Vera take the boy home. At home the mother and father where so grateful they offered to help with healing potions and transportation for the snake meat. As the girls got back to the snake and the rest of the party a Displacer Beast started to attack.
