The Notorious Session 3: Word Lashing Report

Evening of Martius 7th ended session morning of Martius 8th   While at the campsite of bad stew our adventures looked up into the trees and noticed some wild baboons. These baboons where a bit agitated and very curious of who our adventures are. While snooping on the adventures one of the wild baboons encroached to close to a mama bears den and the bear started to charge. Vera noticed this bear stepped aside and with her long bow took a shot and hit the bear. The bear winded from its charge stopped just short of Vera with anger in its eyes. The baboons quickly started to surround the bear and started attacking it. Other baboons started to defend the pack from other invaders. The baboons didn't know how to treat our adventures. So the baboons where very unaligned in the battle attacking the adventures and the bear. Allen rushed to aid in attacking the bear with Vera but the bear made quick work of him by almost killing Allen in 1 blow. The rest of the party saw their new friend fall in battle so they quickly tried to dispatch the bear. Vera being close tried to stabilize her Comrade Allen but was overwhelmed by the bears presence. Solstice came in just in time to stabilize Allen.   Shortly after Allen was stabilized Wincen had the killing blow on the bear. While this was happening a few baboons decided to playfully attack Sullivan. One of the Baboons was jumping up and down on Sullivan's shoulders and defecated on poor Sullivan. Once the bear was down Solstice noticed that this was indeed a mama bear and she took off looking for cubs. Vera joined her after a bit and together they found 2 baby cubs. Wincen and Sullivan started to make proper hunting use out of the bear. Together they cleaned the hide which at its raw state was worth 2gp. Next they processed the meat and was able to gather about 32 lbs of bear meat. Lastly they attempted to harvest the claws and unfortunately it didn't turn out the best. However the party should still get about 2sp out of the claws.   After the harvest the baboon friend of Sullivan jumped back on his shoulders for a ride into Vail. The party ended up heading back to the training grounds and Solstice faced the disappointed look of a father after curfew. The party put the bear cubs and baboon in the barn. Vera stayed in the barn with the animals. The rest of the party had to sneak into the house to not wake any of the orphans however Solstice nailed one of her wounds on something as a tiefling girl came out of the bedroom and went to the privy. Solstice hurried back to the super fancy special guest room where Allen fell face first into the bed taking up the full center of a king size bed. Sullivan, Solstice, and Wincen didn't care they just laid down in different spots not to disturb anyone to much. In the morning Vera woke up to wonderful animal cuddles. The rest woke up to the smell of fresh baked bread and bear bacon.   At breakfast the party was provided a word lashing from Soltices mother about how they let the murder get away. On top of returning after cerfew. However she did praise her daughter of learning the valuable lesson of making sure your friends are safe. As a gift to the party Solstices mother and father provided them with 5 minor healing potions, 1 chest and processed their bear meat into 10 ration packs for each party member. The raw bear hide was also sent to the Haggelton sisters leather works for tanning and/or further processing.
