The Notorious Session 29: The Rummble in the Lazy Archer

The next, morning the party woke up and was greeted by saddening news. Their companion Vera'lyth Aeceris told them at breakfast that she is going to head home. It didn't feel right to leave her family after her parent's accident. She was going to assist her sister Veth Aeceris. By helping take care of Vak'ery Aeceris and tend to the needs of her parents. If the party ever traveled to her home again, she would happily accept a visit is from them. The party packed up their belongings and had a wonderful farewell with Vera'lyth Aeceris.   After the farewells, the party went back to The Lazy Archer for a mid-day drink and meal. As they ate, they listened to a Halfling bard named CiCi sing a song. It had some interesting lyrics, "Deliver me. From all my needs. Those bitter words that taste so sweet. Delusional. Until we fold. Buried under the weight of the world." Sullivan Leopetor Galanodel recognized the lyrics as part of a rumor of an ancient artifact tied to a goddess of magic.   While listening to the music, a Kobold wizard named Nurg Covermane entered The Lazy Archer. He approached the party and told them he was sent by his superior to provide this refined bar of Ghost Iron to them. He also stated that the Matron said this party would need it for their future adventures. Sullivan Leopetor Galanodel was very displeased by the gift. He believes this material is backward and doesn't belong. Allen Eillee grabbed the material, and it was light-weighted and had ten triangle notches. Someone can break off the notches easily. The Nurg Covermane stated they could use one of those triangles to replace any spell component of any value to cast a spell and be cautious about using it.   After the conversation with Nurg Covermane, an Aarakocra monk named Jozec Krukaad entered the tavern. The crowd looked and noticed a mist also rolling in. Wincen Gamble went to a window and looked out. He was able to discern many ghostly white dwarves marching towards The Lazy Archer. The mist grew more around the tavern and entered the establishment. The party, along with CiCi, Nurg Covermane, and Jozec Krukaad, engaged in combat against these albino dwarves. CiCi ended up flirting with Wincen while fighting the dwarves. Nurg Covermane had no sense of safety when casting fireball and almost killed many commoners. Jozec Krukaad was able to hold his own against the dwarves. Something that the party noticed. A Celestial rune remained carved into the ground following an albino dwarf was killed.
