The Notorious Session 16: We are not going to Graverob. I think.
General Summary
Mid Day of Martius 16th
While traveling to Sa'il Ve'anon the party traveled past the tree sapling grove that is ever growing east of the Everdine Forest. While traveling the party was able to avoid damaging their cart more and where able to gather some more unique herbs to add to their collection. After what seemed like an eternity they finally made it to the outskirts of Everdine Forest. When they arrived some of the party members noticed two saber-toothed tigers. They where staggered within the forest just to keep watch of who was arriving. Vera'lyth Aeceris was able to cast speak with animals and asked why they where watching them. The tigers stated just making sure there isn't going to be any harm to the forest. As there was a forest fire recently in the northern part of the forest. The same fire that Vera'lyth Aeceris had visions of threw her bow. The fire to the north is contained by the treants and other creatures. Vera'lyth Aeceris asked if they could enter the forest. The saber-toothed tigers responded by stating anything for an Azions.
The party entered the forest and while traveling on the road they got to a point where their horse refused to travel further. Sullivan Leopetor Galanodel cast see invisibility that allowed him to see slightly in the ethereal plane for a bit. While focusing he was able to see that the trees on the ethereal plane had moved a bolder blocking the path to Everdine. He however did see a path open up to the south on the ethereal plane but on the material plane it looked like a dense forest covering. Veth Aeceris encouraged that it was okay to trust these new instincts as the forest is known to make people lost if they are intentionally seeking out the city of Sa'il Ve'anon and have any ill intent to reveal the location of the city to others. While resting and traveling the party managed to notice when they look forward or behind them all they could see is dense forest. Alternatively if they looked to the ground they would notice a solid path for all to travel. The same was with needed or even recommended rests the forest would open up a clearing for them to rest. During various short rests Wincen Gamble would whittle some sticks into mini badger like totems and leave them behind. Sullivan Leopetor Galanodel and Wincen Gamble found some Ironwood Heart and found out that sticks of iron wood burn a nice orange hot color. While staying up and taking watch Solstice Cyra and Allen Eillee heard howling of some wolves. Solstice Cyra taught Allen Eillee how to communicate via howling to the wolves. At the end of all the traveling the party came to a large clearing with dense fog. Vera'lyth Aeceris and Veth Aeceris stop and point to the center of the fog and standing there where three saber-toothed tigers instead of the two that met them at the beginning. As one of the saber-toothed tigers stepped forward she transformed into the Matron of Sa'il Ve'anon. She wasn't to happy that the party brought a large cart deep into the heart of Sa'il Ve'anon but excused the discord because she knew that Vera'lyth Aeceris's parents where injured in the fire to the north while hunting. The Matron of Sa'il Ve'anon instructed her escorts to take the cart and bring it into the city of Sa'il Ve'anon. Allen Eillee went with the cart, while the rest of the party entered the city from a spiral staircase that descended from the tree canopy.
Within the city of Sa'il Ve'anon the party was greeted with a beautiful sight and noticed a unique statue of an Orc holding a longbow. The party ended up dropping Vera'lyth Aeceris and Veth Aeceris at their parents place and they ran into Varron Aeceris. He ended up confirming parts of Vera'lyth Aeceris vision was the truth. Even confirm that a man was summoned from a ritual and he killed the cultists and summoned mephits to his side. The party immediately put two and two together and realized that this was the same mephit man they pasted on their way to Sa'il Ve'anon. The party seeming with anger now have a new mission to track down this man who was on his way to Malgos for a party for a member of House Drekker.
While the party left Vera'lyth Aeceris to spend time with her family They took off to see the rest of the city. Solstice Cyra took off to take a look at the orc statue. While traveling around they learned from a foyer that the Orc was from some legendary warrior from way back. There is a museum with their remains and belongings. The party traveled to a few other locations got lost in the city and accidentally met back up at the Aba'Trossian Guild of Culinary Arts restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful meal. When finished the party looked around and noticed that Solstice Cyra was no longer around and they immediately think she took off to the museum.
