LC E7: Oh no, a dragon
Mr. Leront is keeping his distance from everyone now, maybe he is spooked by what happened with the strangeness that happened last night. Some scuffles happened and some elementals were fought. We found a bunch of treasures and a talking mirror! I could see everyone, but Lady Mispira! Spooky. We continued through the dungeon and as Ms. Heidi would say "clearly signs of a dragon's hoard nearby".
I stuck with Ms. Heidi, gotta be there in case she needs Betty!
There was plenty of loot to be had outside of where the dragon was apparently sleeping. Mr. Leront got a good sharp smack somewhere along the way, cuz he had blood on him when he told us about the dragon.
The others wandered off to find a place to rest and when Ms. Heidi and I returned with Sir. Parendor, Mr. Leront was on the ground collapsed and Lady Mispira was in a state of shock, it seems.
Don't know what happened, but the way Mr. Leront ran off after a bit does not boost confidence that he isn't involved, especially when Sir. Parendor told Lady Mispira to stay away from Mr. Leront for awhile.
There was a lot of blood on the floor on some handle and I still can't make heads or tails of it.
After some time, involving saving Mr. Leront from becoming snake people food, Mr. Leront had some spooky shadow stuff happen and both Ms. Heidi and Sir Parendor almost went down. I was pretty sure he was alive during all that and fed him a potion to get him back and up again, guess it had a delayed affect. His shadow was dragging him around like a rag doll, kinda creepy, really.
We decided we were done with this place, but the dragon caught our scent! Sir. Parendor gave me a ride, real kind of him, and gave me a coin to toss as we ran. He's a clever fellow, that one. I can tell he has some adventurer blood in him, as Ms. Heidi would say. The dragon was none the wiser of our location.
We were quiet as mice and we are waiting out the dragon right now. Might not write later, the dragon might get wise of us.
