The small mercenary band arose from western Alamor sympathizers a decade ago following the brutal Alamorian civil war over trade rights. They are wanted by the kingdom for continuous war crimes against Alamor soldiers. The Blackhearts are all veterans, and damn good ones at that. They are warriors of dozens of battles and skirmishes and are among the most dangerous of soldiers on the continent of Solea. The price on the head of even one Blackheart is a thousand gold pieces. Only a dozen have been killed in the past decade.
