Lake Bargon
The lake is the largest inland body of water in the City States of Vedania, and by far the most dangerous. Its an impossibly deep lake, with dark inky waters. All sorts of cruel beasts emerge from this water, boggards primarily. Although few in number, they do cause trouble for the dozens of farms that dot the land around the lakes edge. Here, most people live in relative peace, but attacks from the waters do happen, and when they do, the farmers band together to defeat them. Countess Sonia Hollyroot of Wolfholme under the guidance of Lord Commander Arden Neska has dispatched a small full time platoon of soldiers to the area, taking up in a small crumbling watchtower that overlooks the farms. At any time there are twenty five soldiers, and they perform four month rotations with three other platoons from the Neskas shock troop companies.
