The Splitting of the Elements

Founding

The Lightborn slowly adapted to the different climates of Lyardia, and split into different orders. Some lost legs for wings or fins, or swapped spikes for feathers or fur.

After the Lightborn descended, they split into four distinct orders of element-born dragons. Those who favored swift fins became the Ocean-born, those who chose wide wings became the Sky-born, those who grew strong legs became the Earth-born, and those who favored breathing fire became the Flame-born.
