Ned Shakshaft

Ned is a bookseller who was set upon by bandits and was assaulted and held captive in the hautned house. He provided the party with information that implicated Gellan Primewater in the smiggling operation. He sought vengence on his captives, acquited himself well in combat and was last seen chasing a smuggler through the caves underneath the haunted house. That was the last you saw of Ned.
