Father Wyndham
A devout follower of Procan, Father Wyndham works at the Temple of Procan in Saltmarsh, under the guidance of Wellgar Brinehanded. Father Wyndham came late to the church, but is extremely devoted to the teachings of his god. He likes to preach and proselytise, and considers all as potential catches in Procan's net. He is a good friend of Gellan Primewater, and indeed looked over the young man after his parents died.
He may be old, with long white hair and a flowing beard, but Wyndham has the piercing blue eyes and steady gaze of a man half his age. Father Wyndham likes to wear deep blue robes with the symbol of Procan proudly emblazoned on them. The father can be quiet, unless his interest is piqued or he sees an opportunity for some proselytising.
Father Wyndham helped to oversee the young Gellan's education after his parents had died. Being of similar ages they became fast friends. After finding religion the father has dedicated himself to finding wrecked ships and carefully and respectfully interring and blessing the dead trapped within. He has done this for many families in Saltmarsh who won't hear a bad word spoken about the quiet old man.
Father Haward was murdered during a pleasure cruise aboard The Primewater Pleasure, having just saved the life of fellow passenger Skerrin Wavechaser.
