City of London
The City of London is the economical and historical centre of Greater London. It's also called "The City" or "Square Mile", regarded to its dimensions.
The City of London is the smallest of the London boroughs and has a unique position. It's governed by the City of London Corporation and it's mayor, the Lord Mayor of London is directly subordinate to the monarchy. Following medieval rights, the City has a lot of traditional rights, including tax-freedom from the United Kingdom and its police forces.
