Hedark of the Lost
The transcribed story of Hedark Teams travels through a rough area before being attacked and forced to flee. They group is seperated from their unit proper, and is forced to retreat into the woods and leaves to hide. During this time, more bandits appear to rob and raid a nearby town. Hedark moves to help the town, only to discover the bandits that are attacking the town were the same that stole their cart and supplies.
With their mind set, Hedark Team moves in to remove the threat of bandits from the town, hoping the locational difference will give them a chance to sneak up and defeat the dastardly cowards. Hedark moves swift and silent through the otherwise violent night and arrives at the town in time to stop a mass execution.
Townsfolk saved and bandits defeated, the team rallies and recoveres their supplies that were taken. Including the cart and horses. They bid the town farewell and begin to make their way back to the unit, praying they havent gotten too far ahead.
On their return journey, the team is waylaid by more bandits and is forced to fight them down to the last, before fleeing with the cart further through the woods when even more of the enemies arrived. Hedark pressed the cart to its top speed and rushed the vehicle to its limits hoping to outrun the pursuers.
When at last it all seemed lost and the pursuers mere feet behind, a surprise strike from their military units scouts struck the lead bandit and sent them reeling. Hedark had made it back into controlled land and was safe once more. Minutes later and forces were surrounding the bandits, helping to cut them down or chain them.
