Santa’s Reindeer as descendants

Original Eoght Reindeer

  Some say Santa only had his original eight reindeer; Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.   These reindeer mate and create children. Each direct desendant is an heir to their parents' place as the puller of S-1, or Santa's Sleigh.   Each generation of Santa’s Sleigh Team is numbered and only can they pull Santa's Sleigh. Treated like royalty, these deer and any direct descendant are given grand parties as they will eventuallly carry on the tradition of pulling the sleigh on Christmas Eve.   If the tradition lasts, there will fifth and twelth generations pulling Santa's Sleigh.    

Original Eight Descendants

Dasher and Dancer or married but have no children. However, Thrasher is his first cousin.   Prancer is married and has a family although his only publicly-known descendant is Dart. Dart is his grandson. Vixen is married to Frost. Their children are Holly Tinsel and Evergreen. Both of them are still young and aren't even old rnough to date! Comet and Wife have four children; Stella, Halley, Archer, and Armstrong. None of them are old enough to date.   Cupid and his wife have one biological son, Arrow. They adopted Randy after Santa found him in the barn without a mother.   The family of Rudolph is one of long-standing and well-known in Santa's Village.   Pocatello and Seraphina began the family and had Donner. Donner married Mitzi and had Rudolph, Randolph, and Robbie.   Rudolph eventually married Clarice and they had Ridley and Leonard. Randolph and Robbie are still helping Santa but are not married.   Unknown outside the village, Pocatello and Seraphina alao birthed Blitzen.   Blitzen and Delphi have two children. Blizzard is their daughter and Snowstorm is their son.   There are many Christmas and Claus Flyers. These other deer are not related to the orginal team but are still helping Santa. These are Annabelle, Alandelle, Tobias, Ginger, Cinnamon, Lenni, Golden, Silver, Randy, Chestnut, Alandale, Henry, Christabel, Sparkle, Tinsel, Stella, Zoey, Arthur, Snowflake.   Other reindeer that habe helped guide Santa on Christmas Eve but are not related to the "Original Eight" are Sunburst, Strobe and Torch and Fireball.   These pre-Rudolph red-nosed reindeer are extremelly important to Santa.   Some of these names might be related to members of Santa’s Sleigh Team. However, this is most likely through marriage and not birth.
