The Lunar Wars (1981–1995) were a series of armed conflicts on the Moon between rival Earth superpowers, triggered by unregulated colonization and resource competition during the Cold War’s final decades. Escalating from covert skirmishes to open warfare involving exo-suits, orbital weapons, and superhuman operatives, the wars devastated multiple lunar settlements and threatened to reignite global conflict on Earth. The violence ended with the SEAC Accords of 1995, which established the Space Exploration and Colonization Collective (SEAC) to enforce peace, regulate off-world expansion, and prevent future interplanetary militarization.
