The Great Ar’tuin

The myths speak of a great tortoise, large enough to bear the world. One who cares naught for those below it, indiffernt to all. One who once walked the lands of Valoris, giving no care for those it might trample below its feet, or the mountains it destroys with its magic. The Great Ar'tuin stands above all.
Ar'tuin has a sacred duty: Defending Valoris from those without. They take it very seriously, having an office in the realms between whre they meet with those who want to treat and talk with them. Further, they hold dominion over the domains of creation, dreams, and minor sloth. They have a deep freindship with Mekla, being a former companion of hers when Ar'tuin was a child.
But once the Great Ar'tuin was asleep. There are precious few alive that remember when The Great Ar'tuin was last awake. The lands around still bear the scars of its wakefullness. But all the rumours point at one thing: Ar'tuin sleeps somewhere in its garden, and it will wake soon. For good or ill is yet to be detrmined, but all who call Valoris home be wary.
The Great Ar'tuin has awoken. He walks the land, dredging through rivers and stalking across fields. His gaze empty and lifeless, staring at one destination: Veil's End. While dredging through the river, he brough devestaion upon La Gules and Camp Virtu, and has undoubtedly changed the landscape, both political and geographical, of the Crossroads forever. A shatterpoint follows him, any attempts at divining what will be next give nothing.
