Seoras Meinn
Meeting Seoras is not good news. It is a very, very bad news. Rarely seen outside a battlefield, his presence usually means a swift and unavoidable death. There are many stories of great warriors and master swordsmen in the world, and then there is Seoras Meinn. A living legend, he has probably killed thousands of people throughout his life and shows no intention of stopping. Owing allegiance to nobody and living by his own rules, the main is both admired and feared by everyone who has ever met him. It is hard to believe all the stories you hear about Seoras. You would naturally expect folk rumours to be overly exaggerated - especially when it comes to part like being impossible to kill and such. In case of Seoras though, it seems there is more truth to the stories than usual. Way too many witnesses with matching descriptions, including high-ranking nobles and official military reports.
Physical Description
Special abilities
It is unclear who taught Seoras how to fight, or where. He seems to know dozens of different techniques and tricks, switching between them with ease. In fact, he just as easily wields other weapons, catching off guard anyone who would expect him to reach for the sword. Still, the sword - made of strange metal and encrusted with a golden dragon in its handle - seems to be the weapon of choice and most prized possession for Seoras.
So unnatural are his skills in fact that there are plenty of rumours that Seoras is no man. He is a demon, an agent of Chaos in disguise. Or maybe some sort of fae lord. And his sword? Must be conjured with some sort of vile sorcery, made to devour human souls and feed its owner. That is why he keeps fighting, for he forever hungers for more. Needless to say, the church is paying increasingly close attention to these rumours.

Personal history
The first stories appeared what, three decades ago? A lone mercenary with a fancy sword signing up for any kind of military campaign, as long as it paid well. Plenty of people tried to take that sword, and all of them fell by it. People say Seoras's sword leaves no wounded, killing anyone in one strike. A deadly weapon in any hands, but ever more so in the hands of its current owner.
It is rare for a mercenary to live a long and successful life, but somehow Seoras has managed just that. Covered in scars, he would scare most people just by his appearance alone. Too many scars for a normal human to survive, and dozens of people swore to have seen him stabbed through with spears or pierced by several arrows - and not die. Very unnerving for the superstitious commoners.
Employment
It is quite possible that Seoras has fought in most if not all armies that exist in the world right now. And I mean both the Old World and the New World, by the way. He has however become somewhat of a faul pax amongst the nobility who are worried the man's reputation might draw needless attention to their actions and paint them as warmongers.
That is not to say that he is not sometimes hired in secret. We can only wonder what sort of dark deeds would one need a warrior that skilled for. Now you see why nobles are wary of hiring him, right?
