Adorna

The Adorna is a written document full of reforms the kings must rule by. This document was made by one of the councils about two hundred years ago and made with the input of the peoples representative so ensure it benefited the entire kingdom.   Inside it states laws on the power of the council and role of the peoples. It details what the Kings responsibilities are and it states what changes the council will be making to keep the people happy.   It covers matters of money, land ownership and laws, education for the people, women’s roles in their society, gatherings and festivals as well as marriage laws and some military laws.   The council of elders wanted to create these reforms to control the kings and satisfy the people as they had been finding it difficult to control two kings and run the kingdom easily

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to provide a reference for reforms benefiting the people’s of Doranor.

This document remains for as long as it needs, until a new one may be created by popular vote.

Publication Status

The document has copies available for the peoples.

Legal status

The council is responsible for seeing the terms met and reminding the Kings of what their responsibilities are in accordance to the document.

Historical Details

Background

It was made by the council to bring more order into the kingdom and to control the kings and keep the people happy.

Public Reaction

The peoples were mostly happy as the representatives had say in the reforms. It highlights matters of access to education, warfare, women’s roles, land ownership, marriage laws and money.

Legacy

It is a treasure as it is how they rule their kingdom.

Until a new one is made, though this doesn’t seem it will be for a long time.
