Demographics
Mainly Elves but there are a multitude of races that take refuge at Cryptanthia, mainly due to it's geographical safety, this includes Humans, Lizardfolk, Dragonborn, Genasi, Centaurs, Tortles, Dwarves, Grungs, Halflings and Gnomes. There is a social class divide between the upper and lower classes, however, the upper classes tend to be made up of Elves, whereas the lower class tend to be made up of Dwarves, Humans and Halflings.
Government
A council member is voted from the city of Cryptanthia to represent them.
Architecture
This city is stunning. Highly detailed stonework is the main component of the cities many buildings. Green tiled rooves sit elegantly atop the whitish grey marble houses. This city is full of trees, parks, and other green areas. A small river has been artificially built to provide the people of the city with the cleanest of water. This river is kept extremely clean, and is utilised by many fish species for breeding, and provides a general habitat for amphibians, and other wildlife. Alongside the marble buildings, a large proportion of Cryptanthians inhabit tree houses, that have an intricate network of walkways between them. The buildings are generally tall and tower like, with each individual tower providing a home to as many as 8 different families.
