Prep project for summer camp 2024

This is my first article and my first summer camp. I intend to use it as an opportunity to build the world of a book that I want to write.  

WEEK 1: GET YOURSELF ORGANIZED!

 

Assignment 1

The country that I will elaborate in that event will be relatively new. A few hundreds year ago a bunch of poeple had to leave their previous homeland for undertermined yet reason. They recreate a new life on a new territory created rules to live a decent life by. As life go on, rules crystalized in a way that does not benefit everyone and now we are on the verge of a small revolution.

I am building categories that represent the most important part of the world at first. But I intend to add more as my world crystalize in my head. The law and it's application will be one of the main aspect of that part of the world. So my first category will be "This is the law!"  

Assignment 4

Take a look at your meta, primer, and any other high-level document and update it according to the current state of your world.  

WEEK 2: 8TH JUNE 2024

Assignment 5

Consider what kinds of refuge would fit in with your world's themes, genre, and other foundational points.   Well, Second chance will be a refuge for the settlers that was fleeing a war. But I want to define a refuge for the main hero and his allies in a moment of need. I am not sure yet if it will be somewhere or someone.  

Assignment 6

Find a community—whether that’s our Discord server, Facebook Group, your RPG or friend group, or something else.

Find ways to improve styling and layout in your world!
