Causes
Not participating in the Festival of Quälen, Generally pissing off Petol
Symptoms
Comes in several stages:
Stage 1: Mild irritation of the skin, feelings of warmth/cold
Stage 2: Mild Skin Discolouration, More intense irritation and feelings of burning/freezing
Stage 3a: Full Discolouration of skin, extreme irritation, feelings of being burnt/frostbite from the inside/outside
Stage 3b: Complete Mutation, extreme agression
Treatment
Once someone is afflicted with moonscorch there is no cure. They have it until they die and/or are mutated.

Sequela
Suicidal Thoughts/Self Harm are common traits due to the unbearable pain most individuals afflicted with the condition experience.
Affected Groups
Anyone who dosent participate in the festival or loses the festival.
Hosts & Carriers
No fauna or flora can transmit, as it is not transmittable through anything besides Petol.
Prevention
Participate in the festival, pussy
Epidemiology
Started in Prehevil and STAYS in prehevil. Happened as a result of the Festival, and is a punishment for those who do not participate or don't win.
History
Not much is known about the History, besides the fact it started in germany and was used in experiments by nazi forces.
Cultural Reception
Not known outside of prehevil due to no known cases of survivors of the affliction going anywhere outside of prehevil.
