Sin (Coin)

Written by Ezri Steel

A Sin is a unit of currency accepted at The Inferno. By all accounts, it is just a solid gold coin, though it exhibits surprising durability, but not invulnerability. It is entirely unable to be melted, but can be broken with blunt force, notedly pierced by typical ammunition during Agency testing.

Significance

As the only currency accepted at the Inferno, it is often the only way to collect intel on the residents there. Since there are rarely any customers, the only real way to get the various barkers and performers to interact is to purchase their services.
Item type
Currency & Deeds
Rarity
While not exceedingly rare, it is uncertain where Sins come from or a reliable system for finding them. No pattern has been discerned for where they are found, though evidence suggests they only appear shortly before they are found given the lack of erosion or weathering on Sins found in rural environments.
Weight
2oz
Dimensions
1.043in Diameter (Same as US Dollar Coin)
Raw materials & Components
Appears to be made of gold. Upon further analysis, each coin is plated in gold. Upon removing this plating, however, the interior is revealed to be hollow and is no longer accepted at The Inferno. It is uncertain what causes this phenomena.
