Marlow's Mission - Part 1
I arrived in Wood's End on an overcast morning, a day before Master Katti's friend and contact Marlow was due to arrive. It felt strange to be back on the banks of the Lucent, and the ash field that surrounds the town sent ice trickling down my spine. At least I shouldn't have long to wait, Anicet , Clay and the others Malrow had recruited should be on the first crossing after the rest.
