SunSteel is a rare exotic metal forged from pure Sunsteel ore, Mined only in Wharia Urfa inside Mount Chikyu and Mount Tengoku making it extremely rare outside of the Elven Kingdom as it is often only given as a gift of great gratitude to repay a life debt in the Elvish culture. The metal is highly prized for its one of a kind properties, Being extremely malleable even called soft by some, having a very low melting point, and most interestingly acting as a focal magnifying point for magic increasing its potency vastly, it even reacts to magical effects allowing some more apt in its use to manipulate it without having to directly touch it. All of this combined leads SunSteel to be a favorite amongst ceremonies, enchanters, and mages even being famed for being molded into a ring for every Karasu Master when they graduate in service to the Elven Emperor. SunSteel is poorly suited for weapons and armor and is often only crafted into them as accentuations to increase the items magical effect, or in rare cases as items made entirely of SunSteel though almost entirely purposed to be used away from traditional combat. SunSteel is a whitish yellow metal with copper colored grains running through it. Most SunSteel found outside of Wharia Urfa are scavenged war trophies though it does occasionally flow from the demon tail isles that trade with the elves.
