Mithril

"As Light As A Feather, And As Hard As Dragon Scale"
Mithril is a extremely rare metal with very many attractive qualities such as its weight which is less then a one tenth that of iron, a resiliency and strength unparalleled in other metals except Adamantine, reasonably ductile allowing it to absorb impacts well, Immune to corrosion, High Melting Temperature and a light, white like sheen looking like rippling polished silver giving it value in appearance as well. Mithril has long been held as the "Miracle Metal" of the world leading to its vast usage in the tens of thousands of years since its discovery, Because of this popularity though many Kingdoms, Kings, And great leaders from the past have used it in a wide variety of forms and on occasion lost large amounts of this Mithril to the depths of the Oceans, to the deeps of the Earth, and in timeless tombs long forgotten. Mithril now is all but erased from the world only being found on rare occasion, and almost never in its ore form but rather from ancient works to be re smelted into new forms. Mithril is often used in Weapons, Armor, Jewelry, and on rare occasion in very particular building, but due to its cost this is all but non existent. Mithril is Worth over ten times platinum per pound making it the most valuable material in the world per pound partially due to its light weight.
