Adamantine

"Star Steel, Stronger Than A Dwarf On Glaze, Rarer Than A Virgin In A Whore House"
Adamantine is the rarest metal in Westeria, Found only in Mount Gondnok and Meteorites, Extremely dense, Heavy, Strong, Brittle, And completely nullifies all surrounding magic, Not to mention its extreme melting temperature and high corrosion resistance. Blue in color with a oil like sheen and a deep rippling appearance often causing people to call it and Mithril "Brother Metals". Adamantine has been used in forging almost as long as mithril but outside of dwarven smiths very few are able to forge it due to its incredible difficulty in forging, and extreme forges needed to heat it to a usable level. Because of its brittleness Adamantine has few uses often being forged into armor and weapons but limited in its applications as it cannot be formed into rings for chainmail and risks shattering if drawn too thin, Despite this there is no material that can pierce Adamantine and its magical resistance renders not just itself but anything close to it to be immune to magical affects, causing any magical effect to disperse quickly. Adamantine is Rare and considered very precious although not as valuable as Mithril per pound. It is also the heaviest metal in Westeria being roughly three times the weight of lead.
