The Fledgling Archfey

After being bound to the lingering power of an exiled archfey of Thelanis, you take on the following traits:
  • Your current class levels may be exchanged for Warlock levels, with the pact of the archfey subclass. Your ability scores, skill proficiencies and tool proficiencies remain as they were before, however you may choose to exchange any feats you have taken for a different feat of your choice.
  • For the purposes of all item and feat prerequisites, you still count as your previous class.
  • Your type changes to both humanoid and fey, and you can be affected by abilities that apply to either creature type. For example, you can be both paralyzed by hold person, and trapped within a magic circle.
  • The touch of iron on your skin becomes uncomfortable to you. You are vulnerable to damage caused by cold iron, forged without fire and infused with magic to slay the fey.
  • You are treated as under the effects of the geas spell, with the command "Do not tell a lie or untruth, and keep all of your promises". This geas lasts until you forfeit your power, and has no limit to the number of times per day you may suffer damage from it. You may still deceive, manipulate and talk around questions, or follow through on the letter but not the spirit of a promise, but are compelled to avoid direct lies.
  • You learn the geas spell, which can be cast without requiring a spell slot, but only with a command that enforces a promise that they have made to you.
  • This power and obligation is limited in its scope, coming from the discarded, tattered power of a lord without a land. It may increase with time, as you work to establish a true court with power and vassals, claim territory within the feywild itself, and fully embody a grand role in the world's story.
